UPDATE

My apologies for not posting in the past week. I had a heart attack on October 18 and had quadruple heart bypass surgery on October 21. I am now in recovery and learning how to walk, breathe and recover my strength. Antoinette has been a wonderful nurse. Pray for God’s strength and healing. I love Psalm 73:26 “My health may fail , and my spirit may grow weak, God remains the strength of my heart. He is mine forever.” So many friends have been in touch and sent inspiring messages. Thank you. Our neighbors brought a meal today. They are the best and helped me into the house when I was discharged from the hospital. Our daughters drove all the way from Texas to be with us. No visitors or food at this time thank you.

    Oh my? Sorry to hear this. I know that you are resting in the grace of God and I love the verse you are claiming

    There is a prayer I use every night; it is from the New Zealand Prayer Book. I won’t quote all of it but the part I especially like is “The night is Quiet. Let the quietness of your peace enfold us, all dear to us, and all who have no peace.”

    I am praying for your strength and your peace as you recover with God’s grace and peace.
